frequently ASKED

Can we choose our vendors?

To ensure a seamless experience, we coordinate your elopement using our carefully curated team of trusted vendors. We base all bookings on availability for your specific date, which allows us to guarantee quality, reliability, and smooth logistics from start to finish. And because of that, we can't let you choose a particular vendor.

Can we have a friend officiate our wedding?

Yes! Your friend is welcome to officiate. They simply need to register through Hawaii’s Electronic Marriage and Civil Union Registration System prior to the ceremony. We’re happy to guide you through the process.

Can we have our ceremony anywhere we like?

Maui offers many breathtaking locations for your ceremony. We work exclusively in areas where we can obtain the proper permits, ensuring your elopement is fully compliant and beautifully executed.

Can we have an arch for our ceremony spot?

Public beach regulations do not allow rigid structures. However, we can create a stunning floral circle or ground arrangement that complements the landscape beautifully while respecting local guidelines.

How many guests can we bring?

Hawaii regulations currently allow up to 30 total attendees per permit, including vendors (So let's call it 25). This keeps your celebration intimate while still allowing you to share the moment with your closest loved ones.

Is transportation to the ceremony location included?

Transportation is arranged independently, and we highly recommend renting a car during your stay so you can fully explore the island. If you're envisioning a “first look” while walking down the aisle, we can suggest several creative ways to make that moment flow naturally, just ask us!

What happens if it rains?

Maui is known for its unique microclimates, which gives us flexibility. We always monitor conditions closely and prepare backup locations when needed. For more significant weather systems, we also build flexibility into your schedule — which is why we recommend planning your elopement during the first few days of your trip whenever possible.

Can we bring champagne?

Alcohol is not permitted in public ceremony locations, but there are wonderful non-alcoholic alternatives that allow you to celebrate just as beautifully. We’re happy to share some fun options!

Can we have a picnic set up?

Absolutely. A styled picnic can be a beautiful addition to your elopement experience, and we work with excellent local vendors who specialize in creating elevated, romantic setups.

Are there any extras/added fees?

We believe in full transparency, so there are no hidden fees in our packages. The only additional cost to keep in mind is a $100 early-rising fee from the stylist if you choose sunrise Hair & Makeup. Additionally, the State of Hawaii requires a $65 marriage license application fee, which you pay directly to the state on their website. Other than that, everything outlined in your package is covered, so you can plan with confidence and clarity.
